The 7 Stories Obama Doesn't Want Told

My Fellow Americans,

Let's face it: Barack Obama isn't getting the job done.  He's in perpetual campaign mode.  He may or may not get his healthcare plan and cap & tax passed.  This is now HIS recession (whether he wants to admit to himself or not).  And we can't forget that his approval ratings continue to drop.

Now, there's this article from Politico.  Let me give you the headlines of the 7 stories Barack does not want us to know:
  1. He thinks he’s playing with Monopoly money.
  2. Too much Leonard Nimoy (Mr. Spock for you Star Trek fans).
  3. That’s the Chicago Way.
  4. He’s a pushover.
  5. He sees America as another pleasant country on the U.N. roll call, somewhere between Albania and Zimbabwe.
  6. President Pelosi.
  7. He’s in love with the man in the mirror.
I think the story that trumps all seven is number 1.  To this point, you cannot convince me otherwise that this President is playing games with our hard-earned money.  The arrogance and ignorance with which the stimulus was passed in the name of "saving or creating jobs" just further supports the argument that Obama believes he is playing with Monopoly money.

Now, with the pending healthcare vote, and cap & tax on the horizon, Obama will need his "Chicago Way" to get his agenda pushed through.  If you don't agree with his goals and mission, they will either make you agree or find someone who does agree with them.

Another important one was number 5.  Obama really does seem to aspire to be "President of the World."  After all, he is heading off to Copenhagen -- again.  With his constant U.S. apology tour and the fact that he seems to care more about global issues than domestics ones, it is no wonder why many on the right believe he doesn't care about being "just" the President of the United States.

Then, there's number 7 and I just have to ask: have you ever seen someone more in love with themselves than "mmm mmm mmm" Barack Hussein Obama?  In the Politico article, they mention a picture of him holding a GQ magazine with his face on the cover.  (As you can see, I found the magazine cover, but not the picture I speak of.  If anyone finds it, please let me know).  The guy believes he can do no wrong.  And if you don't agree, first -- you're stupid -- and second, how dare you disagree with him!  There's the Chicago-style politics again.

This President needs to get back to his campaign promises.  Then, stop campaigning.  Then, stop traveling around the world and get some work done at home.

Then, stop playing President of the World...and try being the President of the United States first.
