BigGovernment.com: Was Dems' Healthcare Plan Written in Federal Prison?

My Fellow Americans,

It appears as if the heat has been turned up.  No, this has nothing to do with the global warming hoax.  I'm talking about healthcare.

But, you won't hear a thing about it on the state-controlled media.  The news about the White House party crashers and Tiger Woods with his 100 mistresses...that's the only thing they seem to care about.

However, what has been kept hidden since we heard about the WH crashers is this: it appears as if the healthcare plan the Democrats have been trying to ram through has been the work of a convicted felon.

The Players:
  1. Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL)
  2. John Gaudette, the Illinois director of Health Care for America Now (HCAN)
  3. Robert Creamer, convicted felon and husband of Rep. Schakowsky (Creamer pictured on right)
The Highlights:
  1. Rep. Schakowsky’s husband, Robert Creamer, used to be the leader of Citizen Action/Illinois. He also founded its predecessor, Illinois Public Action, in which Ms. Schakowsky served as Program Director. He runs a political consulting firm, the Strategic Consulting Group, which lists ACORN and the SEIU among its clients and which made $541,000 working for disgraced former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich.
  2. Creamer resigned from Citizen Action/Illinois after the FBI began investigating him for bank fraud and tax evasion at Illinois Public Action. He was convicted in 2006 and sentenced to five months in federal prison in Terre Haute, Indiana, plus eleven months of house arrest.
  3. While in prison—or “forced sabbatical,” he called it—Creamer wrote a lengthy political manual, Listen to Your Mother: Stand Up Straight! How Progressives Can Win (Seven Locks Press, 2007).  The book was endorsed by leading Democrats and their allies, including SEIU boss Andy Stern—the most frequent visitor thus far to the Obama White House—and chief Obama strategist David Axelrod, who noted that Creamer’s tome “provides a blueprint for future victories.”
  4. In the book, Creamer draws lessons from decades of experience on the radical left, including the teachings of arch-radical Saul Alinsky, and several episodes from Rep. Schakowsky’s political career. He also lays out a “Progressive Agenda for Structural Change,” which includes a ten-point plan for foisting universal health care on the American people in 2009.
I would like to thank Andrew Breitbart, Glenn Beck, and the author of the BigGovernment.com story, Joel Pollak.  It really is nice to know that we have people out there who really care about the American people.  Without them doing the mainstream media's job, we would be in the dark on most of this REAL news.

Honestly, America, nothing surprises me anymore.  From the Cloward/Piven strategy to Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, now we have a step-by-step action plan for healthcare specifically for Progressives.

As Pollak notes: "Creamer wrote his plan in 2006, explicitly proposing that it be carried out in 2009, once a “progressive Democrat is elected President” and once Democrats could count on 60 votes in the Senate. It is curious that Creamer, sitting in prison, could have predicted the details and the timing of President Obama’s legislative agenda so precisely."

If you look at everything that is being done, you can see the Obama administration and the Democrats are following Creamer's plan to the letter: “We need to convince political leaders that they owe their elections, at least in part, to the groundswell of support of [sic] universal health care, and that they face political peril if they fail to deliver on universal health care in 2009.”

And how do they want to get the American people on board with their healthcare plan?  One word: FEAR.  Why do you think they bring up doctors cutting off people's feet to make extra money?  Or how millions of Americans are denied coverage based on pre-existing conditions?  They want to scare you.

Creamer adds: “To win we must not just generate understanding, but emotion—fear, revulsion, anger, disgust.”

The Pollak article really is an intriguing (and frightening) read.  I recommend you read the full text of the article.

America, do you get what they are doing to you?  Did we really think that they were going to take over one-sixth of the U.S. economy without a detailed plan?

Well, we know their plan now.  We know their plan step-by-step.  We know it well enough to put an end to it.

Call your representatives in D.C.  Make sure you vote in 2010.

Let's end the madness.  Don't let the work of a convicted felon change your life for the worse.

  2. Well, that would explain a lot then -- wouldn't it?
